It has taken more than two decades of collaborations, five years of continuous observation, hundreds of scientists from various institution. And EUREKA! we have the largest ever 3-D map of the Universe!
And atlast, They have made it: Astrophysicists unveil this huge mysterious discovery which is the 3D model of universe that was founded on Monday. This analysis for four million of galaxies and quasars(It is the super-bright galaxies lit up by material onto a central super-massive black hole)

The researchers said that it might be due to the presence of an invisible dark energy which resembles the Albert Einstein's Theory Of Relativity......what is Relativity?
RELATIVITY:-
- It is coined by the legend,Albert Einstein which is actually the theory of gravity.
- According to this discovery, gravity is a curving or warping of space.
- The more massive an object is, it will more warps the space around it.
- Let's take an example- The sun is massive enough to warp space across our solar system.
- As a result, the Earth and all the planets revolves in a circular path(orbits) around it.
This 3d map of universe also revealed that the Universe's expansion began to accelerate at some point and has since continuing.

Comparisons of the eBOSS observations with previous studies of the early universe have revealed discrepancies in estimates of the rate of expansion.

1. How much of the universe is mapped?
The Universe is mapped out to about 2 billion light years across. This number is increasing everyday but this whole process of mapping the Universe is very slow and complicated as well.
2. How did we map the universe?
By measuring the Redshift of a galaxy, we could actually get a 3d map which is converted from the flat image of sky.
Redshift is nothing but an observation of light from distant galaxies.
