Introduction To Cosmology
The observation of the Sun, the Moon, the planets and the Universe in general spoke of the insolvency of one version or another better than any living witness.
The biggest misconception that we will forgive to the great minds of the ancient world was that they considered the Earth the center of the world, and sometimes, the Earth is not even spherical at all.
It is difficult to wait for faithful judgments about the origin of the Earth, the Sun, planets from people who do not know the right state of things.
In our time, the bypothesis of the birth of the solar system should explain all those observed facts that have accumulated over the centunes.
And then we describe the circumstances of the existence of the Sun, the Moon, the planets, their satellites and the small bodies of the solar system, which must certainly not ignore the moderm model of the birth of the planetary system.
So Astronomical Observations Tell Us That
2. All planets except Venus, Uranus, and Pluto rotate about their axis in the same direction as they orbit.
3. Almost all satelites around their planets also observe the constancy of rotation in one direction, however, there are many more exceptions.
4. The orbits of the planets are located near the same plane close to the plane of the equator of the Sun.
5. Average distances from the Sun to the planets obey the law of
Titius-Bode, with the exception of distances to Neptune and Pluto.
6. The orbital planes of satellites, with a few exceptions, coincide or are close to the plane of the equators of their planets.
7. The planets are divided into two groups: Earth and giants, while the first are smaller in size and mass, they have few satellites, more density, a special chemical composition and they are located closer to the Sun.
8. Planets of the Earth group that have a solid surface are close in shape to the globe, giant planets have the same property, which, however, are no longer lattened at the poles and do not have a solid surface.
9. Most of the asteroids are located between the orbits of Mars and
Jupiter, as well as beyond the orbit of Neptune.
10. Almost all comets have elongated orbits, sometimes even parabolie and hyperbolic.
These orbits can be oniented differently in space.
11. The Sun accounts for almost the entire mass of the solar system,
however, the moment of its number of motion almost all went to the planets.
Science dealing with the education and existence of celestial bodies
is called cosmogony: It is this science that hypotheses the origin and
development of the solar system - some collection ofcelestial bodies.
